more paperwork

It doesn't end. We have yet another piece of paperwork to have notarized, certified and apostilled.
This is one of our three power of attorneys that has to be used for something new.
It's not that big of a deal to have done. It's just signing and taken to an office then post office, then overnighted to another office then back, then to our agent. Okay, when I put it like that it sounds like work.
Can you believe we've done this probably dozens and dozens of times. In fact I could probably put all the addresses on everything without looking them up, but won't do that...I'm way too paranoid about all this stuff to do that!

Still Waiting

It's been a few months since I wrote our last post, mainly because there's not been much to write about the adoption.
We still wait for "the call" with news of our letter of invitation given to us by the country of Kazakhstan in order to get our entrance visas. Along with the "letter of invitation" comes an appointment date to meet with the authorities there and proceed with our adoption. We have good days and not so good days waiting. We're trying to keep busy, without making too many plans for the future since we really should be traveling soon :)

We found out this week that we will have to have yet another piece of paperwork done, notarized, certified, and apostilled. The last time we travelled to the Secretary of State's office to get paperwork done the director there recognized me...well, she'd better I've been going there for three years! Everyone in all these offices know us and I'm pretty sure they think we're a bit addicted to paperwork.

We hope soon to be posting some good news on here about traveling over to get our child/children!! Thanks for praying :)
