more paperwork! what a surprise!

Josh turned 18 this week and with that came background checks including two sets of fingerprints. One set for the fBI and one set for immigration. Also additions to our home study. We also need to get a medical worksheet done for him. At least we know this time there is an end in sight and it helps to know we are going over soon and will all paperwork will soon be over :)

We received our Letter of Invitation!

We are so happy to finally be able to write on here that we've received our letter of invitation to go to Kazakhstan!
We have not yet received our appointment date and confirmation number, but our agent Kristen told us we will get these within a few weeks!
Our letter does state that our visa entries will be good Aug 1 through Nov 1 so we know we'll be traveling sometime within that time frame!
We are beyond excited, thankful, and relieved after three years and four months from the time our adoption journey began to actually have a tangible time frame!!!! Thank you Lord!
We know by now His ways are not ours, but we do know HIs timing is perfect and I do trust that God has our child/ren in His hands and is soon going to place them in our care!
